Sorry for the dearth of entries lately (whereby "lately" I mean, "since I started working at a community college"). Side-note: I think today is a day for archaic pompous words like "dearth" and "whereby." Case in point, I used "herein" on a lab assignment for 115. They were confused once by "latter" -- I wonder what havoc "herein" will wreak

GO for the MFA! Studying online would allow and encourage you to write, but keep your day job.

That is curious idea, too, about being a WILL student. I wonder if anyone has been a WILL student and has an undergrad degree already from the college?
