So, friends, I was thinking that maybe we could attempt to join our forces at some point in the nearish future. I know we all have lives/jobs, and taking time off isn't always possible, but here are a couple questions to answer to figure things out if you would like this to happen ( Read more... )

I'll be somewhere across the Atlantic Ocean at that point, so count me out.

Oh and I watched that video of your 4 year old best friend... classic. Is that the son you conceived during your sophomore year, or a different one?

no love for madison? but there are so few places i can wear my cheesehead...

My schedule for spring is still very much undecided, so i can't commit to anything. i second ncg hosting us so i can see the studio.

id love to go to madison. i hear it's a sweet city...but brian is being a douche and having a life rather than checking lj constantly. we may have to go there actually because he might not be able to get off work for that long.

i can usually get a 4 day weekend if i want it (barring any major disasters by the customers), but a full week might be harder. thus, you must all visit me.

the will of frods be done

and i don't know if i mentioned this but i live in a church and it rules, so come on up here and prepare to have your minds blown, holy-style!

OK DECISION TIME. DON AND BRIAN YOU MUST STATE YOUR CASE FOR WHY WE SHOULD GO TO YOUR HOMETOWN. I'M HAPPY EITHER WAY.

but i reeeeeally think we should do this. Even if for just 4 days because thats probably all nick or alex would be able to do as well. We could save $ by staying at someone's place and then that person who doesn't have to buy a plane ticket will compensate by showing us a wonderful time in their city.

Here are a couple pros I see:

IF we go to boston, don's drum set is there. Meaning we could bring our portable instruments and possibly rock out. Don, is that true?

IF we go to Madison, none of us have ever been there except brian obviously, and it would be cool to explore a new place.

that's all i got....boys, convince the masses. remember, incentives, incentives, incentives...

yes indeed true. My drums are in my basement and we could rock out every day.

Yes it may be true that we have never been to Madison... however, Boston is way way way cooler. there's way more to do. I live in Salem, which is a sweet city. And then we can go to boston, which is an even sweeter city. It will start to be warmer out so we can go to ocean lawn, and the cliffs, and maybe the quarries. Endless shit to do.

I have a cat and shes really cool.

You can walk to the beach from my apt!

sounds super sexy. brian still gets to state his case though. But I think all of us flying to boston for 4 days would be very nice. Fly out the night of friday, march 12, stay sat, sun, mon, and leave tues the 16th. That way those of you with jobs/school could probably still pull it off.

lol ok thanks brian. ill agree that not having a cat is a plus, however, your case for madison being awesome didnt really WOW me. I have heard its a sweet place though.

Ok, so now it's time to get down to business because it's way cheaper to book flights early. I really want to make this happen, but I can't be the one who chooses where we are going because there's no fairness to that. Do one of you want to concede and vote to go to the other's city? or do we need to figure this out through a non-biased method (such as online rock-paper-scissors)? And more importantly, if we all decided to go to boston would you still come brian? what about if we went to madison, donald? I ask because if one of you really cant leave then that is obviously where we should go.

Just think about the wicked awesome time we would have! Woohooooooo
