*a little perturbed that he couldn't even sense Ilmari's illness, meaning that he can't pick up much on Ilmari at all (for some reason), concerned for his friend, but a bit wary* I'm sure we'll find the cause of the chaos. We just need to gather our strongest allies, first. It doesn't make things easier when demon attacks are occurring all over the world. Any Atem has tracked down haven't told him much.
Do you normally get sick like this? Is there anything I can do?
*turns to Yugi and smiles, but he looks extremely pale and his voice is slightly hoarse* I get sick a lot, actually. I've never been very healthy, even when I was young. My immune system is pathetic, and I have breathing problems, among other things.
*sighs* I always get colds and fevers, but this is different. The sickness is more resiliant and more painful. Dr. Denave's medicine helps, but... *looks away* It's only able to stop the pain for few hours, but then it comes back- *suddenly puts his hand to his mouth as he begin to cough; each one sounding worse than the last*
*puts an hands on Yugi's shoulder, holding onto him as he sits down, not trusting his legs to hold him up* Than-... Thank you Yugi. *leans back against the boxes, and takes deep breaths* I'm sorry if I'm scaring you... It really does hurt though... My- *puts a hands to his mouth and coughs twice before continuing* My chest and my head are what hurt the most...
*looks down, scuffing his feet in the sand* I'm sorry, mate. I was havin' a bi' o' fun an' I hadn't reoloized tha' yer feelin's were gettin' hurt of I was moakin' ya a panicking mess. Forgive, me, mate.
*looks at Varon for a few moments, then smiles* No, I'm sorry. I overreacted. Yes, it's annoying, but I shouldn't have barked at you. Forgive me, I've been feeling a bit off lately.
Please do not worry. I'm extremely easy going, and it is equally difficult to "get on my bad side." I strive for objectivity at all times, with all people. I may be an atheist, but it does not mean I think any less of you, nor would I be ticked off by your beliefs. This is not true objectivity.
I do hope Varon stops pulling pranks. People do grow weary of that, and it is not good for social interaction. I wish you a speedy recover, and that all future circumstances are in your favor.
Anzi! (You're welcome!) It's funny that you compare Varon to a child. In Nature offspring who are nurtured after birth by their parents often turn to the adult for guidance. Perhaps that is what Varon is really asking you when he pulls pranks: Give me guidance.
I hope Malik and Mariku can make up soon too. I do not like seeing them unhappy. I am sure that if you tell Varon that you do not like him teasing you even though it is in good nature he will probably stop. He is doing it in fun I am sure. Those poor people and that poor child *close to tears* I have seen too many children die already. I do not wish to see more. *whispers* Those bastards.
