Hello journal. I really need to write.
At this particular moment I am supposed to be watching the 10 hours of "It Gets Better" interviews that the Women's LBTQ Group had professionally taped. The group is meeting tomorrow for four hours and I was supposed to have gone over every video and rated it, marked down quotes and time frames in seven ( Read more... ) -

Quick update:- Work is great, but my boss hired two additional people that we really didn't need. This pisses me off, because I already told her that I would like more hours, and she said there weren't that many to go around. WTF. I'm only working 24 or 25 hours this week, which is great because I have 2 exams, but other than that I was kind of ( Read more... )

I'm not unfaithful, but I'll stray.
I'm not really in a great mood right now, but I said I'd update tonight so here goes.
- Disney was great. It was a little overwhelming being in huge crowds and with my family 24/7, but I really enjoyed spending time with them, and it improved the patience that I have with my cousin Nathan. Definitely understand him a lot more now.

I wrote a partial one, but LJ decided to delete it before I posted it and I just don't have it in me to write again.

Financial crap!
I am literally going insane waiting for my financial aid letter from URI. It is so scary to have to figure this stuff out on my own. I am relying on my good grades and campus involvement to earn me scholarships and grants. Without it, I am screwed, ESPECIALLY since there is extremely little grant money available for DCYF kids. Going insane just to figure this out, but I like it.
Today I finished my week of training for my new job at the URI Feinstein Center for a Hunger Free America, and I am absolutely in love with this job. The training was really intense because it involved 17 hours worth of memorizing every rule, regulation, guideline, financial exemption and exception, and income bracket, all so that I can be ( Read more... ) -

Although I moved everything out of my dorm yesterday, I went back today to help Molly clean and to get my rug. It was sad. Bittersweet. It's not like me and Molly ever got really close or anything this year, but we did sleep in the same room for 8 months and I guess it's just weird to say goodbye to someone after that ( Read more... ) -

Today was a really interesting day.
It started out by waking up to my aunt's call saying that we are putting our oldest dog, Tita, down today. Then my friends pulled me out of bed and we all went out to breakfast at the Bluebird Cafe, which was lovely and a great way to start the day.
