Can I start by saying that I adore this time period? (And push that a little further by saying that I also love the medieval period and the Romantic/Victorian Era? And the Renaissance?)

It was a charming little story with wonderfully fleshed out characterizations. Spain's manner of speaking (and that you labeled him as "Don Fernandez") really made me smile. Heck, they all made me smile. <3

If you ever continue this I would be more than happy to read it!

Oh god, this was brilliant. I recently read a book on Elizabeth's life from her birth to her being crowned as Queen, and so seeing this time period and history from a different perspective (and a Hetalia perspective at that) was just excellent.

And man, did you ever nail this. You made me feel bad for Mary, someone I never really felt bad for. And the amount of research put into this makes me jaw drop. I love it.
