It's weird, I'm really glad he's going now it's announced, but I've always been really 'meh' about meeting him in the past. Unfortuantely I really don't like John Winchester (older JDM version) in the show, and it sort of coloured my enthusiasm for him.

Which is stupid really!!!

I'm the opposite in regards to John :P - I've always really liked him in the show and I wish they could have done a lot more with his storyline (although I'm not sure if I want him back on the show now - I don't know that the writers would be able to do the character justice). Also, I knew him from Grey's Anatomy first, so when I saw John Winchester in the Pilot, it was like 'oh, hey, it's Denny!' :P.

I think part of the reason it's so cool that he's been announced is because he's never been to cons before, so he was kind of the unattainable guest that you accepted was never gonna show... until now!

Man, I am just SO STINKING JEALOUS!!!!!!! And I love John Winchester. There are so many out there that castrate and criticize him and they are going to have the opportunity to meet him. I know they still love JDM, even if they hate the character, but STILL!!! I love Both. I want to meet him so badly. I can only hope that he books VanCon.

I know!! I can't believe it either - I thought maybe it was a joke or a typo when I first saw the Tweet, lol.

I never in a million years expected that he would do a UK con! I hoped maybe there would be a small possibility that he might be announced for Dallas next year, but I didn't expect A14 at all... especially as I thought that there were no more guests coming to it.

I know!! I remember once when JDM should have gone to Barcelona and I had tickets but he cancelled and then the convention was cancelled too.

I'll be happy when we hear from Wayne though, he's certainly not the best at emailing LOL.
