That M&G sounds great! I have to say, if I'm going to miss any panel I'll often chose to miss Misha solos because the questions are often really, really bad.

Yeah, it was a cool M&G - just a casual chat between us and the guys. I haven't really noticed Misha's solos being any worse than other panels in the past, but this time it was like something changed as soon as he came into the room and everyone went a bit mad. All the other panels were respectful with minimal catcalling and people mainly behaving themselves and then Misha came on stage and suddenly everyone seemed to think it was okay to be rude and inappropriate :S.

That's great about Gil moving to NYC to pursue a Broadway career. I was watching one of the many videos of him singing at a previous con with a friend the other week and she said he really should go into musicals, I totally agreed and guess we're not the only ones thinking that then!

That M&G sounds like it was a great time :).

Yeah, Gil said he was living in New York now, though it's really hard to get into Broadway, especially if you're an actor from LA, because they are protective of the NYC actors and don't just want some Hollywood movie star rocking up who just wants to give it a try.

It was such a fun M&G - very relaxed and just us chatting amongst ourselves :).

Great report. Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well that day. We all want to feel and look our best at these things, so it was a bummer you weren't at your best.

I'll have to watch Gil's panel. I usually don't watch the other panels but the song he sang is one of my favorite songs from Les Miz, so I really want to hear his rendition. I think its cool that these Cons helped him get back into singing. He does seem to break out into song quickly during the panels, but he does have a beautiful voice, so I also don't mind.

Your M&G with R2M sounds like lots of fun. I might have to do one of them someday. Something to think about and budget.

Thanks :). It was so annoying about my headache because it just meant I didn't enjoy the experience quite as much as I would have if I'd been feeling fine.

Yeah, normally I would think it a bit attention-seeking if a guest suddenly burst into song in a panel (and this time it was obviously planned in advance), but Gil is so good and has said he's only singing now because of the cons, so I can forgive him for that :P.

The M&G was great :). I did feel slightly out of place because it was obvious that most of the other fans were regulars to their M&Gs and I was a newbie, but it was still lots of fun. Very different from a Jensen one because it's a lot more relaxed and you're really just having a fun chat with them rather than nervously asking questions. I do find it strange though when the actors say they don't think their job is very important (they seemed impressed by what several of us do) and seem to be in awe of what some of the fans do for a living, when for us, it's the other way around!

I can understand them thinking that their jobs aren't important, especially when they come up with people with jobs such as yours, or medical professionals, etc., more life or death kind of professions. They play-act for a living and get paid handsomely for it, so yea, I can see that they might be in awe - but, like you said, we see these people on the screen, they are known by thousands and we are in awe of that. Such a different perspective, but it is nice to hear that they had that type of feeling about their profession.
