This episode was pretty decent, I just hate that it takes me so long to watch it because by the time I get to the episode, I've been pretty much spoiled for the whole thing. Despite being spoiled, I really enjoyed the episode. I am a sucker for angst and they really seem to be setting the scene for a combustable scene between Betty and Jugehad ( Read more... )

It's like he is trying to be hard cause of circumstances, but he really isn't a thug by nature.
I agree. Like the situation with Archie, that was all talk till Archie was stupid enough to come on his side of town and cause problems, and even then Sweet Pea was going to let him go till Archie became difficult and refused. I think if you got him away from this side of town and in a better environment he might be a lot different.

ugh, the whole Toni and Betty thing was so ...off. I touched upon this in my review too. I adore Toni, but it did feel like she jumped on Betty for no other reason than she was a Northsider, but then Betty went on a whole thing where she sounded way too much like her mother. It made no sense because that is not the Betty from S1 who made that speech at the Jubilee. It felt like the writers just wanted to have the two girls dislike each other, which is so stupid because Toni seemed to have no issue with Betty when she first met her.

The whole thing came off as contrived drama and incredibly inorganic. I was totally thrown off by Betty's new found hatred for the Southside? I still don't get why Alice hates it so much considering that she is from there. But, the best part of the expansion into more of a Southside pov is SweatPea. Can we keep him?
