I... don't know. I don't know enough to say. If there's someone they see reason enough to go after, they might just go after them. If there's one constant with the Akatsuki, it's betrayal, so it's hard to say what they might do.
But right now, they're focused on us. It doesn't make sense to give them more targets.

Reasonable words, Tenten. I'll scout for Akatsuki and determine the situation from there.
It's probably best to rely on Kakashi-sensei for the moment, however- Unless Haruno-san becomes coherent enough to tell us of how to deal with Sasori. Even then, it's highly likely this is a collaborative project of the Akatsuki, and the the threat there is suicidal.
Unfortunately, as of now, Kakashi-sensei is likely their captive, and appearing noticeably poses a serious risk to his already endangered life as well as everyone else's.
I dislike leaving him at all, but if Akatsuki's made this move against us and we retaliate, it could trigger the start of a war on this world and involve numerous innocent parties. I don't trust Akatsuki to leave them in peace; particularly with this stunt.

Let me know what you find. Don't go in alone, Neji.
I don't think Kakashi-sensei can deal with them all, Neji. He needed Naruto's help for just Deidara, and then he needed us to back him up too. We can't rely on him to get free on his own.
I can't figure out why they wanted him. He didn't fight Sasori, Deidara was the one who should be angry at him. Did... Madara... see him as a threat?
If we don't retaliate, Kakashi-sensei will die. He can't get out of that alone. And if we don't, we come across as weak, they think they can go on and do that again. Can we avoid war?

I know you're not. But I needed to say that.
I'll hope he finds a way, but I won't count on it. We can't count on it. I've been trying to asses it while trying to monitor all of the younger ninjas. I can't figure it out. Surely he'd want Sakura instead, she killed him. It has to mean he's not working alone. I don't think they need his eye, as they have an Uchiha already.
What if they want war? He's connected the most, out of all of us here.
I'd forgotten about coming back to life. It's still a strange thought. Maybe they want to use him to get Itachi again, and Sasuke.
They won't risk the man behind the scenes, Madara. Hidan would just kill. Deidara probably can't handle things complicated, he strikes me as harder to manage. And I don't know anything about the other one, Tobi.

There's a group of enemies of our village back home. They've showed up here and have one of our people as a hostage. We'll get him back.
You should know they're pretty dangerous.

Not the best weather for this kind of action, but will these enemies confine their interest to just your people?
