*I've now written this pattern out in a more standard way, and changed a few minor things. In particular I've made the wings stronger so they will stick out better. The new version is too long to post here, but you can download the pattern from Ravelry: http:// ( Read more... )

Hello heavens_hellcat!

I love your patterns very much, especially your really nice dragon (I looooove dragons)!
Would it be ok for you when i translate your adorable patterns into German
and to make it available to Amigurumi-friends (crochet-club and
amigurumi-club), who are only understanding German. Of course i would
mention that they are translated by courtesy of heavens_hellcat (our how you would like to say it). And the German patterns of course wouldn`t be charged. But in Germany and also Austria there are so many Amigurumi-fans and at this time the patterns are mainly written in English. So we try to help the people, who are not speaking/reading English to crochet also those very nice Amigurumi. And besides it´s a very good training for upgrading my English, ;).
Have a nice day, Karin

Karin, please feel free to do that, I love the idea of my pattern spreading into other countries! Like you say, as long as you make it clear where it came from, that would be absolutely fine.

I was searching for patterns today and someone had a picture of your dragon but said there was no pattern...but it turns out you've just put one out! Thanks so much, I'm very appreciative :)

Your dragon is the best ! anonymous June 24 2007, 09:35:09 UTC
I love your dragon since I first saw it (october 2006). I was looking for a crochet dragon all over the internet, your dragon was the best, the rest was not so nice. It is a real dragon, not a dinosaur or snake with wings and it is so cute! I don't crochet enough well to make it without pattern so my younger sister (who love dragons) didn't have it for her 18 birthday, but now I have something for her as a award for passing her exams (97% - she was really good). Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :-D
