I'm afraid he's speaking a little too quickly (although slow for shuji!) for me to understand it really well. He seems to be talking about going out and doing stuff with someone, and also about an event. I'm thinking he was attending this event, not performing. Do you know when this video is from? Shuji was a HUGE fan of the band LOUDNESS, and in particular saw its drummer, Lazy, as someone to look up to. Lazy died in 2008, and I know shuji talked about it in his blog. It's possible this is what he's talking about. I'm pretty sure they met at least once, so... But all of that is speculation based on a few phrases caught here and there, and I could be totally wrong. XDD
[Edit: I should clarify that I think he is referring to events in the past, not like...yesterday.]
Ooooh, well that's it, then, I'd say. He keeps referencing going out to drink and going shopping with someone, and he's using an honorific that implies the person he was with was someone he looked at as his superior or someone he respected very much. The event is probably the one he was performing in, or possibly both that event and another in which he'd seen Higuchi drum.

Shuji did learn a lot from MUNETAKA HIGUCHI
It's even amazing that the members of LAZY asked him to drum for them.
