Konzen is minding his own business, walking down the hall towards Tenpou's office with a couple of books in hand, when he almost trips over something fairly small that slithers out a nearby doorway and down the hall at an impressive speed. There's a rather familiar hissing noise, just as Konzen manages to regain his balance, but the dark blur slows

And there's a Tenpou not far behind. He pauses just long enough to give Konzen a cheery nod in greeting, surveys the hallway, and heads toward the open door as the most likely destination.

Konzen blinks a couple of times, then follows, scowling a bit.

"Tenpou? Was that your damn basilisk?"

What a nice, big room with lots of furniture to hide under. Better hope that window's not open.

Tenpou, in the process of reaching under a chair that seems to be hissing an awful lot, glances back at Konzen, blinking. "Yes. Why?"

This moment of distraction allows the blur to make a run (slither?) for the door. Would Konzen be a dear and shut that?

Konzen scowls again as he slams the door shut, and the basilisk runs into it head-first before dashing off again. Konzen's not making any effort to catch it, however. It's Tenpou's pet and he doesn't feel like letting that thing chew on him today.

"It got out again?"
