oh my god! the people across the street have painted their house bright bright pink. oh my god it is horrible. we are talking bazooka bubble gum pink. they had it painted a nice beige with blue trim, but now it is pink. the house is pink, even the hurricaine shutter's have been painted the same horrible pink. what possessed these wacko's

actually...penny says it is more of a pepto-bismol color. that really does fit better. it is just sad...so very sad...lol. kind of looking at road kill, you can't help but look no matter how much it grosses you out.

heh, i remember when we were on our honeymoon on marco island, and we actually saw some garishly painted houses...they should outlaw that stuff!

yes they should, but they don't. houses should be simple, nonblinding colors (unless you live in the middle of nowhere and no one else can see your friggen house!) what possesses people to paint their houses these colors?

We had someone in our community paint their house pink, but it was because of all the BS they had to deal with from the city ordinance. After everything was straightened out (a year later) they painted it white, but they painted it pink to piss off city hall.

But there is a house on the way out of Wilmington on the main road that is a bright purplish pink with dark purple shutters. (It always reminds me of a book I had as a child of chip n dale, when they painted a house with bright colors and polka dots, lol.)

Sorry you have to have the pink house right across from you.
Maybe you can put up a big mirror out front, so when they look out, they see their own house in the reflection. :)
