[heavensomewhere]

today i took a walk in the woods

it was a light drizzle

the rain tapping the early-spring leaves

making a natural drum beat i could nod my head to

then the birds kicked in a fine melody

held up by the added tunings of the crickets

i sat on a rock and enjoyed mother earth's orchestra

satisfied to find music in the most unlikely of places
