Toothpaste as an aspirin antidote? That's brilliant. And would explain why Ten had one is his pocket...

The last line breaks your heart just a little.

Lol! I did try to find a real antidote that was rarely used and seemingly random, but then I figured that if the Doctor is able to use ginger beer, anchovies and a snog from Donna to rid himself of the effects of cyanide, he could certainly make do with toothpaste as a cure for an allergic reaction.
