i think the skirt looks good, what do you not like about it? Did you do the skirt from scratch?

hey ! :) yeah I made it from scratch this the third one I did, I just don't like how the pleats sit I've tacked them down in some places.

you know how on bought patterns of pleated skirts they have all the guidelines there. notches of where the pleats need to overlap, and the lines that indicate where the pleat needs to fold etc, but when we do it from scratch we may not have those guides, and i feel that's where it goes wrong, is that maybe we are off when we make the pleats.

i've done pleated skirts from scratch, cept i transfered over some of the guides and it laid much better, than when i was just trying to do it myself.

either way it looks good, so don't worry too much :)!

no I had the guide lines, I have a bunch of pattern making books, I might be a little to critical for my own good >.> some times I just need to hear that its ok >.<
