Short Biography: Vincent grew up in Glasgow Scotland, his family life was normal and his parents loving, but Vincent always seemed to get in a lot of trouble. His parents noticed him acting out a lot when he was a small child, always getting into fights with his four older siblings and on the playground with other children. When school began it was even harder for Vincent, the smallest provocation and he'd be set off. Over the years his bouts of anger seemed to lessen until he'd be fine for days or weeks and then something would set him off. He got expelled from three different schools and as he entered his teens he began to experiment with drugs and commit petty crimes. He was always known for being slightly impulsive with decisions and when he graduated high school he shocked his parents by telling them he was moving to the US and becoming an artist. Vincent had never shown an interest in art before that moment, never even really doodling, so when the next day after his announcement he packed a bag and flew to Seattle his family and friends became worried. He got a small apartment in south Seattle and found a shared studio to rent. Since he'd never done anything like this before he tried a lot of different artistic outlets and found that he had a real talent for sculpting and sketching, he picked it up quickly and within six months he was selling pieces at tiny galleries through the city. Things got a lot better for him during those months, art seemed to help his anger and depression. He'd gone months without an outburst and then he met Nadja. She rented out one of the three spaces in Vincent's studio and she was a visual artist. They clicked right away and Vincent fell hard for her, they moved in together within a month and were engaged in a year and all the troubles of his past seemed to disappear. Three months before they were to be married Nadja committed suicide, hanging herself from their bedroom ceiling. Vincent had no idea she had been upset or depressed, she was always happy with him and things were great so at first he just wouldn't accept it. He got paranoid and angry and his life quickly spiraled out of control. He began drinking and using drugs again, fighting and destroying all the things he'd created with his life. After a visit from his family Vincent finally agreed to being checked into a hospital for evaluation and after a six week stay he was transferred to Royal for more treatment.
