I really hate when I don't listen to Mara's advice. She was all "Don't watch Veronica Mars after the first season, because it is terrible!" I thought she meant it would be immediately unwatchable, and it was not, so I kept watching! Right?? I did the same thing! I was like "I just want a little closure so let me see just the first episode of S2, and then I'll understand why it's bad and I shouldn't watch it." And then I was like "wait, this is actually fine. MORE VERONICA MARS! :D" And then halfway through the season I was like "wait, I'm confused, when did this show get TERRIBLE?"
