I still have the same apprehensions about the guy. I've seen a few of his interviews, and when it comes to my point of contention, he manages to deftly side-step giving an explanation and turns it into some sort of anti-congressional slur that's popular with the liberal crowd. I don't agree with him on any of the issues, but at least he's not as painfully mentally slow as Bush.
I do wanna know what model he's playing, though. Looks to be a 36" scale, he has my vote if he moves to fretless.
Mostly from his deft dodging of the evolution questions, but the quote in particular was from his third appearance on the colbert report. Paraphrasing:
"So you have said you don't believe in evolution?" "Well, I believe in devolution. People who believe in evolution think that we descended from monkeys. I look at congress and it looks like we're turning into monkeys!"
*laughter*
It's actually a little inaccurate for me to say he's appealing to liberal crowds with those quotes. The liberals and the conservatives are both pissed off at eachother's do-nothing congresses. I must admit, he's a skillful wordsmith, but he's a little too fundie for my tastes.
