Unfortunately, FOX wanted exciting fast-paced episodes, so this continues for another 4 weeks. So I say wait for episodes 6 and 7, which is where Whedon got to finally dive into where he wanted this show to go in the first place. :)
You know, I completely loved this episose for Trucco (and Kate) alone. Because I was just thinking how oddly he had been acting lately. I mean, really, the way he read his lines were ridiculous. To me, anyway. But then tonight with him being almost crazy-like? MUY IMPRESSED!
Tory/Chief was seriously the best thing ever. For sure.
Yeah, I saw an interview Joss did earlier today, saying that it didn't really start coming together until the 6th ep, I think. I'll stick it out for now, I still have faith in Joss. :)
Well, I think a lot of the way he'd been acting lately had a lot to do with just coming out of his OWN injury/surgery, maybe. Although he did do his own stunts last week, which is, frankly, amazing.
Yes, exactly. I had low hopes tonight so I quite enjoyed it for what it was. And I think it was a good one to grab some casual viewers. Might be too weird for some people, but ah well. And as for having faith in Joss - I had to do the same with Fuller and Pushing Daisies. I wasn't totally on board with it as much as I wanted to be, but then it really picked up. It's still my least favorite of his shows I think, but it's still up there - right under Wonderfalls. Or maybe tied?
True, true... didn't consider his injury. That would certainly affect a person. Throws you off. And getting to tackle something like this episode, I'm sure he was all game and pushing for an awesome performance. And he really delivered. :)
