You know, I was pretty happy with the BSG finale. I was actually surprised at how many people were upset with it.

I wasn't overly surprised about people hating it, considering this is a show where someone (including myself) can find something new wrong with it on almost a daily basis. I was more annoyed at so many people bitching about things that were set up from the very beginning, and acting like it totally came out of nowhere.

I'd say share your thoughts about the finale! Well, unless your thoughts are that everyone else is stupid, in which case, y'know, flock is your friend. :) But I was overall pretty satisfied as well, and would've said WORD on your first reaction post, so go right ahead. Unhappy people can go keep each other company - there's no reason happy people can't too.

I'm still thinking about it. You know me...my reaction posts are always nothing but capslock-y flail and/or rage, so getting past that to an actual thoughtful post is hard for me. :D

THIS. That's one of the major things that bugs me about the reactions...religion has been important since the mini. Maybe they're mad because Kara's busy making out with her angel husband? >.>

Oh, I can understand where you're coming from on that, yeah. It just...didn't bother me as much, and i'm usually one of the first ones saying NO to any kind of history wtf-ery.

I'm a massive archaeology geek. Like, if there was any way I could possibly go back to school? Playing in the dirt, digging up old shit, and spending entirely too much time in musty libraries is exactly what i'd be in for. (We won't talk about how I regularly do this in my own backyard. Ahem.) And yeah, I probably would have preferred it if they had ended up in say, Greece, and been the founders of that mythology. But that would be logical and this is BSG...when have they ever been logical? Honestly, it probably didn't bother me because I was too happy with the way everything else turned out and was perfectly fine hand-waving the rest.

I have ~thoughts~ about the BSG finale, but I feel like i'm one of the few people that was 99% happy with it and that anything I say would offend or come out wanky.

The only problem on the layout is giving up my beloved K/S! Unless I do a combo fandom one. Hrm.

Heh, i'm still thinking about it. I'm horrible at deep thoughtful fandom posts. I'm better at flailing!

My main problem at this point is NAMING IT. And finding co-mods. And deciding if it would be like, all-purpose Mellie/Paul or just fic or what. *has issues*

Combo could work, as long as you make sure Tahmoh doesn't end up looking like Helo. o_O That could be confusing...

AND CAPSLOCKING! Don't forget that! ;P It doesn't have to be all deep and thoughtful you know, we will still love you if you start with flailing and end with thinky thoughts.
