Trauma by Mother

I just had to sit through 2 hours of advice giving and “let’s talk as friends not as mother to daughter” lectures. I still wish I had been deaf and this just proves why I don’t talk about my social life. I swear I hope that’s not a trait that’s put in to all mothers. Ugh! *shudders* I hope this conversation doesn’t come back again till next year.

:( I missed FMA!!!...And that is why I don't want to marry or have a boyfriend, if any guy wants to be with me, they will have to go through a series of tests. First with my uncle, if he gets approved by my uncle, he then has to get through to my father, then my mother, and then the rest of the family. I don't think I would want to put a guy through that. My older sister was shunned because she ran off and got married, so she had to get married again, but infront of the family to get some respect back, not all, but some.

Same here which is why I really started concidering "living in sin" *lmao* I feel bad for the poor guy who asks me to marry him. I'll make sure to tell him "you really want to go through with this? Because this is a battle over family and happiness". And I understand the whole shun thing with your sister. My cousin made the mistake of having a kid before she got married, sure everyone still loves her and her kid but they still dissaprove of her actions. "Just you wait! If you pull a stunt like Jennifer(thats my cousins name)...I'm not your aunt! I WILL kill you." Talk about death threats...
