The California Science Center is one of the museums that it going to get one of the retired space shuttles.

Oh we are so going to the Science Center!

I know. There was a great bit about it on NPR yesterday--specifically that the California Science Center's master plan has always been for its third phase to focus on air and space, and the dude from the CSC seemed over the moon (erm, bad unintentional pun there, sorry) that a shuttle would get to be the centerpiece of it.

I'll bet Houston is pissed.
