Oh, and the pub was the Argus. We could go to Cooper's Tavern if people want pub food--it's pretty good, right next to Flavor of India so it's relatively close, and I THINK it is pretty accessible. It's ground level, anyway, and they have outdoor seating although it may be a bit chilly for that.
Thank you. Both for this and for the reminder of the names of the place. I know I have a copy of the restaurant guide around somewhere, but there's a pesky work deadline, and I didn't have time to go digging around for it today.
It's been crazy busy the last few weeks, as you might imagine, and the next 30 hours or so don't look any more promising on that front, but I am very much looking forward to seeing folks.
The pub we went to 2 years ago was the Great Dane, last year was Flavor of India.
Umm! I would like to go, although my dietary restrictions might make choosing a restaurant annoying. (i.e., I can't have Indian food, no pizza, no Mexican) People talked about Cooper's up above - I like Cooper's! I worry about getting seating there, as sometimes it's difficult, but probably anywhere around the Square on a Friday evening will be about the same.
