Had he fallen off, I am sure he would have done so very gracefully, and there would probably have been fighting in the crowd over who got to catch him.

Thank you! I couldn't resist the idea that someone in the crowd was standing there fuming because Camille stole his chair for the purposes of incitement. I do love drawing him so much, he's so spindly and delicate!

Happy 12th! Earlier I drank a celebratory glass of elderflower cordial and subjected the cats to a harangue on the importance of the date. Surely even Max would not disapprove!
