Can't help but feel a little ditched. Oh well. Life goes on and there's always next time.
Maybe it's time to look into rpgs on the 360. I've heard good things about Mass Effect. Anyone provide a yea/nay?

Ditched?

Probably because you have an XBox instead of a PS3.

J/K.

But how'd you get ditched

Not overly important.

And the shiney 360 was a christmas present, so I'm certainly not looking it in the mouth.

Fable II was fun, but if you just rail road the plot it wouldn't take too long but it was a month or so worth of fun for me. Then again I was killing and pillaging, I wrecked the economy of most of the cities.... Killed my various spouses... And had everyone in the world hate me.

In the vein of Hack and Slash with some interesting Story Ninja Gaiden II has been fun so far.

And I think the commercials for Star Ocean say its due out soon.

Fable 2 was my obsession for a long time, though there are some serious glitches that drove me CRAZY, and a few that broke the game >_<. Mass Effect was very good, though I didn't play it as much as my Boyfriend, who metagamed it till i got sick of hearing about it, though to be fair I got back at him with Fable when I discovered it. He let out a man squeal when I told him about ME2.

Don't know if you have played it but Fallout 3 is the most awesome ever. The end. I would have it's game babies if games could inseminate.

Right now I'm in a more sci-fi kinda mood for my games, so Fable2 will have to go on the back burner for awhile. Just as well, by the time my tendencies swing back toward fantasy, it should have dropped in price.

I'm loving the hell out of Mass Effect. I'm still on my first playthrough and finding that I'm loving all the codex entries about the setting and how well thought-out it is. I also saw that ME2 was on the horizon, so I wanted to play through the first one first.

I got my dad Fallout 3 for Christmas and he enjoyed it at first, but then he showed me the 400-page strategy guide and I was like "Uhm... good?" and he responded "How am I gonna do all this!? I don't have time to do all this! This will take me forever!" It was kinda funny.

BF has been trying to do EVERYTHING FO3 but I finished the main storyline in a week. There is a lot of quests, but the guide tends to go into a lot of detail about EVERYTHING, espectually since there are at least 2 ways to do almost every quest.

Heard rumors before that you could take your ME character and have his stuff in ME2, but I don't know about that now.

Been WoWing to hard lately to even think about other games though Paper Mario on the Wii has been looking strangely tempting...

Yeah. The missus has been playing Super Paper Mario that she got on loaner from her boss. I think I might have to pop it in and see what's what. I enjoyed Paper Mario for the GC, so it should be good for some laughs.
