Realizing this is incredibly late notice, I would like to invite all y'all to a movie marathon today! It's up at the Scotts Valley house, starting at around 2, and ending whenever we run out of energy (probably around 10/11-ish). We'll be watching some combination of

Sounds like fun, but I am heading to lunch with my parents today and after that I should work furiously.

I haven't heard of History Boys or Velvet Goldmine. I vaguely recognize the cover art for Imagine Me and You, once I google it. It seems to have come out after I was doing a servey of gay/lesbian (mostly lesbian) movies:p

I have very little interest in ever seeing Boys Don't Cry again. Lots of movies make me cry. This is not a notable feat. I'm a big softy. But Boys Don't Cry is one of three movies that I can remember than left me unable to stop crying after the lights came up (It shares this dubious distinction with Titanic and Serenity. Neither of which I want to watch again either.)

But I'm a Cheerleader is a deeply cute movie.
If you like it, I also recommend The Incredibly True Story of Two Girls in Love and Better than Chocolate.
