The Academy Award nominations were announced this morning! Here are the films Garrett has starred in that made the cut:

You know, I am admittedly biased because I absolutely can't stand the Oscars. But despite the fact that I know the whole thing is a huge sham, I still manage to get angry every single year.

And all I can think is... are you kidding me? The only Oscar that Tron: Legacy got nominated for is Sound Editing? Not even VISUAL EFFECTS? Really?!

I shouldn't be surprised by this sort of thing by now, but I am still angry anyway. God damn it.

Ugh, I'm upset by the Visual Effects snub too. I thought that nomination was practically guaranteed. Best Score would have been great as well but I guess the Academy reached their quota of badassery and can't nominate both Tron and The Social Network. /rant

visual effects not being nominated is bullshit.
I'd love for Garrett to sing at the Oscars, but it won't happen.
