I do think your worrying is silly just because you have a history of "rocking it." I always rock public speaking, but it still makes me horribly anxious every time I have to deliver a board report. So I think your jitters are normal.

Grad school is going to be a lot of work, hon. But just think if you were starting a new job tomorrow, in this economy. You're really lucky to be in this program. It pays, it's secure, the subjects invigorate you, and you've already built a rapport with your cohorts and some professors. I think you're in the perfect place for you right now.

what all your other friends said. :) you have always been amazing and you will continue to be amazing. grad school will kick your ass, or it should, and then you will slowly start to kick it's ass, and then the world will be yours.

(i'm still in that first phase, but i have faith in both of us.)
