Liberals had important messages to convey in the 60's and through time the social pendulum swings back and forth. Therefore it is certain that Conservatives will have important messages to communicate as well and the social change they bring may be just as significant.

While the columnist makes some valid points I am not 100% convinced that he is making them with the best intentions at heart. We cannot turn back the clock on social change and we must do more to understand the changing roles of men and women in society.

The Psychiatric Morbidity study in 2000 was a survey of mental health in the UK. This graph highlights that each in case of neurotic disorder more women than men were found to be affected. I cannot comment on any subsequent review of this study but as this link comes from the national statistics online site I presume it reflects the majority view of current medical thinking ( ... )
