My father told me that the business trip was canceled.
It's been postponed to '10, and will likely be delt with my a lawyer, instead.
Both my parents had a long discussion about how they felt when sending me into a situation where neither would be there, all to complete a serious legal matter which was many miles away.
They decided against it.
I'm a very obedient person. I respect my parents more than anyone else and feel that they -do- honestly know what's best when it comes to my safety and what I should/should not handle alone.
But still. A small part of me does feel as though I missed out on an opportunity
Possibly to grow, mature or struggle with the world of business without anyone holding my hand.
