Then Malta brought the usual ballad, nothing special about that.  Until 2 minutes and 20 seconds of this video has played.....  Priceless :D

Is it true she's only 17 years old, and sings old peoples music?

Wow, the Maltese really do like their ballads. But... shit. Was that a zombie angel raising from the dead behind the woman?

The Greeks are hilarious. The main singer looks and sounds like some knockoff Dark Lord with his posse.

The bird/zombie/angel/whatever was kind of spooky, it looked like a fallen angel was about to drag the singer along with him straight to hell *lol*
The Greeks are my favourites so far, although there is really something homoerotic going on there... *lol*

And every year the British actually think they can win it and get upset when they don't. Worth tracking down on Youtube or whatever is the Eurovision episode of Father Ted. You might remember that the Irish had one hell of a winning streak in the ESC and it pokes fun at that.

Infact here you go:

Hilarious :)
I watched a ESC program on TV a couple of weeks back, looking at some unforgettable winners, and I guess it's the Johnny Logan factor the Irish just can't get over. And who can blame them, "Hold me now" was a good song back then, and no doubt the man could sing!

Yes, the Dutch entry is abysmal. It was chosen when the writer of the song was forced to choose (he couldn't and was told if he didn't, then the jury would make the final decision).

OMG, the Greeks. What is it with them?

Why does Malta always choose to do ballads? Same question for Ireland.

Looks like this ESC will be one of the lowpoints of all times :o\ *sigh*

I guess the people at Malta are very sentimental, and can't resist a ballad *shrugs* It's funny how they keep sending the same song over and over again, and doesn't give up :)

Oh no, poor you :) But, I doubt the dutch will make it to the final, so it will be a waste of televote money giving them to Netherlands this year :)
