ESC celebration was a lot of fun this year

Despite the fact that our Stella didn't qualify for the final (in fact she came in 17th in semi one, and wasn't even close), we had a lot of fun last night watching the show on TV. Iril decided to hang out with friends, so it was me, Stig, his sister Hanne and my friend Solfrid.

Pity points? You gave pity points to the UK entry? Well I guess we need them if we're ever going to win again. The British always expect to win then act all surprised when they don't.

I'm sorry, we HAD to. My hear was breaking for the poor guy far left on the stage, he wasn't able to sing even if his life depended on it. They were just not as good live as in the video we had seen before the contest.
I am sure the UK can win again, but they would need to come up with something original and new. A recycled boyband just isn't good enough to win.

Of course! :) In any competition with Norway and Sweden involved, only two rules count.

1. It's more important to beat the swedes than to win
2. If we are not there to beat them, we want them to fail miserably.
