Finally a day with good weather up here, so Stig and I took Lilja for a drive to Sommarøya to visit the bird-park.- They have a lot of different hens, peacocks, ducks, geese, parrots and other stuff. I got to hold a newly hatched chick in my hands, it was so soft a fluffy <3

I have a 15 year old today!
This day, 15 years ago, I had just given birth to a beautifull baby girl! It was the worst summer ever, we only had one day with sunshine the entire July, and that day was the day after Iril was born, so I missed it. Time flies, it feels like yesterday that Iril was a toddler Liljas size :)

Lake
Went for a walk around the lake today, slightly chilly because of the wind coming from the north, but it was refreshing :) Lilja really loves the birds up there, she always starts to cry when it's time to go back home. A few snapshots:

Unexpected "roadtrip"
Stig and I took Lilja along and drove to Kvaløya today, and took the ferry over to Vikran, where my friend Livi and her family lives. Both her and her youngest kid just had their birthdays, so we were invited for a celebration :) Nice company, yummy cakes, and Lilja even got to play outside for a while in the rain :) Unfortunatly the ferry had a ( Read more... ) -
