O.K. only got through part 1. MY GOD this is beyond holy shi---t epic.
I been up all night studying, but I will read the rest and comment more. But had to let you know. This was so good I had to take a break.
WOW saved! and you win!

funniest part of part 1.

“How many times have you thought about coming on my face since the last time?"

He laughs at that, his voice husky enough he can't even recognize it. "About as many times as you've thought about coming on mine."

I laughed so hard. You my dear are a great writer. Sulu's POV, is so empathic. Oh Sulu ;_; and your sensitive heart and dirty talk. HA love it!

O.K. I'm dead, will be back for more torture once I get my 8 hours.

Beryllium.

Wikipedia says "beryllium is found naturally only combined with other elements in minerals."

Funny how Sulu finds himself in combination with others too.

Stunning, epic, and bad ass in ways Chuck Norris just wishes he could be.

That's such a great coincidence I hadn't even pondered, thank you so much for pointing that out!

Thank you for sticking with it, and thank you for letting me know how much you liked it. That means a lot.

Thank you so much for the feedback, I'm glad I made 'awesome' jealous, especially as so much of this is centered around things that could very much turn NOT awesome if they aren't done right. Thank you so much for reading it, and I'm really happy you enjoyed it.

This is beautiful and sharp and funny and so full of emotion that it's almost overwhelming. I love the push and pull of Uhura and Sulu, the easy friendship of them with Gaila, and all the lovely moments, big and small, that tell the reader about who they are and what they are to each other. I love how you build all these layers for each character so that they're always complex and never what you expect, but mostly, I love how you took two of my favorite characters and gave them this rich, gorgeous history and relationship and inner lives.

This is so amazing, and I'm so glad that you wrote it. It's utterly fantastic.

Every time I've read this comment since you posted it, your words just make me fucking glow, because, yes. I had feared that perhaps because these characters weren't predictable, they'd be considered OOC, but wanted to challenge myself and the reader to step out of that, especially with characters that don't *get* the face time that others do. I'm glad that came through, and I'm glad it was effective.

Thank you for leaving such lovely feedback.

Wow, what gorgeous writing. I like that there's nothing conventional or predictable about any of the relationships here -- makes them seem very real. I also really like the friendship you imagined for Gaila, Sulu and Nyota, and the way you wove snippets of their backstory into the rest of the narrative.

And the pegging was hot. ;-)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I wanted to get as close to these characters as I possibly could, and I'm immensely proud that it worked so well for you.

Thank you for leaving such awesome feedback.
