Persnickety Cheese?

A few years ago my good friend Hannah used the word persnickety all of the time. Tonight I saw this commercial. My mouth hung open, I just...just didn't know that people really used that word. Besides Hannah. I had never, ever heard anyone use that word. Huh. Well, here's the commercial:
