runaway truck ramp

This afternoon I drove west up into the Rockies for a while. There are signs that say "6% GRADE" which doesn't sound steep but actually is when you're driving it. Also they have runaway truck ramps which are like off-ramps that are covered in sand and end in a big pyramid of barricaes. I, for one, would not mind at all seeing a runaway semi. The
