Remedial tasks become so simple and perfect sometimes, that I can't stand it. It all sounds too good.
I lived by the train tracks for 8 months quite a while back, and I will agree with you, that it is a wonderful sound. I miss is so much, and I will to this day swear, that you could feel a little rumbly rumble when it went by at ridiculous times in the morning.
i lived just down the street from the bread & ink cafe in september and october. that's such a great part of town. not too far out from downtown, but far enough to avoid all the downtown noise when you want some peace and quiet.
i've left you a couple of comments, i think. and i don't know if you remember me. jessica, from creative writing class, at eisenhower high school, your senior year, my junior year.
hey jessica--yes i totally remember you--schtop th' keh! i'm just an awful person and forget to reply sometimes, in this case, every time, to your comments! yeah, i am over on 21st and clinton, just about a half hour walk from the bread and ink. i agree, it's a great part of town--it still feels neighborhoody but it's close to a lot of happenin' stuff. so you are back in yakima now, right? any plans to come back to portland? anyways, sorry again for not replying! ps-i got the job!
yeah, i'm back in yakima. portland totally kicked my ass financially. so i'm gonna fix all that crap here, living with my mom, and try to be back down in portland by next fall or winter.
no worries about not returning comments. i was just hoping you hadn't forgotten who i was, because i changed my name and all that business.
congrats on the job! i'll have to stop in next time i visit portland. i'm planning on being down there to see brand new at the roseland at the end of march. and to see my old roommates, of course :)
