yesterday was my first ever thanksgiving of my very own. i made my first turkey--rosemary and olive oiled--and homemade cranberry sauce. it felt nice to celebrate a holiday in my own way ( Read more... )

that works beautifully for me. i have both days off.
i have been missing seattle something terrible these last few days.

i have a train ticket that leaves seattle at 5:30p on the 4th
and comes back on the seventh, i do not expect to take up all of your time.

the trains have been canceled due to mudslides and the like, i dont know if i will be able to make it this week :(

All of these things are wonderful sounding, minus the mouse. But even then, I always remember the mice incidents in my life and they get funnier as time goes, I think.

P.S.,
I have, and I know that Alix does as well, a few treasures for you and baby. Maybe, we shall even deliver it in person, if we get lucky.

yes, the mouse incident was really and actually hilarious.
i would love to see you two--really and truly.
if you can't make it down though, i'll be up in yakima for a week or so before christmas, and i'll be sure to see you then.
