The stay in London (well, Acton) was really nice. We went into the city yesterday to explore and get pictures. The pub connected to our hostel is a Polish meeting place and last night was the 'Polska Dance' complete with a DJ and many drunken Poles dancing. London has been really relaxing. We're both tired at this point in the trip so yesterday was spent resting, taking advantage of our free wifi, and doing laundry. We had a mix up because of how we copied some dates down and we ended up not spending a night in Paris. It ended up being a really dirty place and we were hustled by 3 drunk men within our first hour there before 10am. We were fine with leaving. This city was nice to look around for the first day. We got a lot of pictures and ate a 37EUR lunch which wasn't even that good... Once all the shops closed between 5-8pm we were at a loss of what to do the first night. I'm so glad we went to Prague! It was well worth the journey to and from (7 hours to). Our hostel had a really nice atmosphere and we immediately made friends with some of the staff. We also met friends of theirs that were from Poland/Wales/Britain. They took us out on our first night to an awesome club called Cross Club. It made of metal and ( Read more... )

Today was our last day in München. We toured Dachau, a concentration camp that was in use between 1933-1945. We went through the main gate, looked around in a little museum, went through the registration and shower/disinfecting/torture room, saw the building used for solitary confinement, went to the barracks and finally the crematorium and a few ( Read more... )

So far Tyler and I have had a good time in München! It has been easy to get around. We have not used any public transportation so far, just going on foot! We went on a 3 hour free walking tour of the city today and that was really great, I don't think we would have seen so much of the city without it!
