Lornas cat is going to be put down today. She is so sick, she can't eat or drink and is vomitting at the sight of food. She has been ill for a couple of days now and there is nothing else they can do for her so they have decided to put her to sleep so she doesn't suffer anymore. Lorna is so upset she is crying

I am sorry for her cat. I know how it feels.
I miss Fluffy so much too. Yesterday when Kat was in bed with me I looked at her and I could've sworn it was Fluffy.

someone at work has a 12 year old shitzu (dog) .. who is having terrible problems with arthritic pain. They were thinking about putting it down because nothing seems to help and the poor thing is suffering all the time now. So she went to Wal-mart and bought arthritic pain reliever for adults and gave it to the dog. Everyone asked .. is that okay? are you sure? .. her reply - what was the other choice, put the dog down? This way at least she will know she tried all she could and if the dog dies because of the medicine, wasn't it going to anyway? ... by the way, the dog seems to be reacting positive and is feeling better? so who knows ....
