So, Turkey has a really strong sense of ownership.
Whenever something ever belongs to him, he believes that he was meant to own whatever it was and will defend his right to own it for however long it takes. This extends to all his former lands when he was the Ottoman Empire. And to Zhores as well. Though the memories from the Sekirei game are hazy at best, because they still have the bond, Turkey still has a faint feeling that he owns Zhores. It's really faint, but it's still there, so that confuses the hell out of Turkey. Right now, Turkey says that this is because there is a little Turkish in Zhores (lolol) and that Zhores is really faintly one of his because his great-great-great-great-great (etc) grandsomething was one of his. This helps.
... I swear this wasn't intentional, but I'll finish it when I get back home.

SO, Turkey has a faint feeling of owning Zhores. Moving on from that.
Turkey sometimes wonders why he likes Zhores. Then Zhores does a dickish move that Turkey secretly approves of later or acts dere for him that he remembers. Zhores has the personality that Turkey loves in friends (and lovers). Someone who is not afraid to stand up to him. Someone who won't fall back down when Turkey issues challenges to them. Someone who is fun as hell to top. If he wasn't Turkey and was just 'Sadiq Adnan', then he might be interested in something more then friends with benefits. Zhores is one of Turkey's best friends in camp and it's likely going to stay that way unless Zhores does something so stupid that it drives Turkey away.
And he's still dragging him to present day.
