I don't know what to say... Seriously. This fic just blows me away. I know that I'm late but just want to drop a comment to say how much I love it. I enjoy it from the start to the very end. I love how you mixed present and past into one, how you developed each characters and their emotions. I cried a little when the castle burned down.. It's seriously a good read. Thank you for this wonderful fic. This one will be one of my forever favorite fics for sure.

I'm not sure if you're still active around here (I totally understand if you aren't!), but I just wanted to leave a comment to say what a wonderful story this was:) I found this story in the infinite big bang comm, seriously, I haven't read a story that drew me in so much in a long while. I really, really enjoyed reading this soo much!
I really liked your narration style, switching back and forth in time, even though it was a little confusing at first. And the fact that you kept the identity of the grave digger till the end...wow that really kept me on my toes guessing who it was. And all the vague references to the different travellers and people along the way, it was a surprise when I read on and found out who they were and what happened to them afterwards!
Just curious though, what happened to Sungjong after the bombing? (or was I too unperceptive to figure that out from your story?)
Anyway I also really liked the context your story is set in as well, I'm totally a sucker for medieval settings:)

i just cannot describe how much i like this still, really. i just re-read this, and when you revealed the characters one by one, especially the last section with the grave digger, gosh, it really hit me hard. that moment of realisation and nostalgia that you feel along with the characters...

My goodness where do I begin? I haven't written a comment on LJ for years but I felt your story warranted one.

I know I probably failed to be perceptive and understand some things coz I don't understand the link between L & Myungsoo? Did they just happen to look alike? Was Sungyeol sick? And why did Sungjong fire Dongwoo despite knowing the people would be mad at him?

I really really love how you revealed each character slowly. The last part of the story where you retold the first part of the story struck me so hard I swear my heart was thundering in my chest. Howon or Hoya, I hope he finally finds peace.

This was absolutely wonderful. I wish it had more comments and more views coz you deserve to know how amazing you wrote. Thank you for sharing!
