Awww, I totally feel you with tinies. I had three initially, but sold all of them this year because it's always a struggle to take photos and play with them. They're much too small for me and always made me frustrated when I couldn't get them to pose well or make them look adorable in photos.
Minis are like my perfect size, super easy to carry and set up for; but my heart always belongs to the SDs because there is just more presence and personality in that huge size for me. :)
I hope your Mirwen ships soon! She is genuinely my favourite MNF sculpt and I can't wait to see yours~~ Speaking of patience, my Dollflower eyes just arrived after nearly an entire year of waiting omg NEVER AGAIN.
I stick with the Captured in Glass, super cheap $9 a pair glass eyes. Better than acrylics but I don't have to wait forever to get them and they haven't let ME down. But I'm sure if I ever had my hands on some urethanes I'd be ruined forever and not be able to accept cheap eyes ever again!
Also it is SO hard for me to pick colors, I wish I was the type to be able to say "oh my character definitely needs GREEN" but that never happens. I just buy what I like, which is why I have weird colors and no one really has their "own pair".
She won't have a faceup! And since I haven't received a new doll in 2 years all my go-to faceup artists have retired and I'll have to pull it off myself XD aha this is gonna be nuts!
I can certainly tell from photos that they are not the best of posers, but then again none of my dolls are really good at posing.. my narae are the best at it but they are still single jointed

Ah, the tan resin IS lovely! I have a dolly daughter with a tan Lati Yellow and he's utterly adorable!
I wish FL would consider more tan resin but it's probably a pain to deal with. Though BBB and RS in China have no problems with tan. The 'pour' factory they use does great fantasy colours without seams or marks.
Even if its a pain to deal with there is clearly a market for more color variations. Other companies manage to do it, and well, like you already mentioned.
Having airbrush tanned a doll before (and over and over for maintenance), and also being too much of a coward for dyeing I personally would pay more for a tan doll.
Just the thought of putting itty bitty pukifee parts in hot batches of dye water is nightmare inducing!
I'm starting to want a whole army of tinies T^T hopefully I get a ton of orders for doll clothes and the like so I can justify buying one!
