And Now Back to Our Regularly Scheduled Programming...

Okay gang,

It looks like there'll be room for one more session before I hitch my wagon and ride out of town. How about Wednesday or Thursday of next week (August ___ or ___)? Comment and say which day is bestest for you. Ask away with any questions about the indefinite future of the campaign, too, although that's a little amorphous at the ( Read more... )

I can manage, its a shame it cant be sooner, but I suppose you are rather occupied.

As for the future, I am staying in town (one of the VERY few) for the remainder of who knows how long. I am really hoping to get into the entry level electrical program in februaury, but we will have to see. I dont know how often you plan to come back to town, but even so; rae, jim and doug wont even be here so i dont see how this is going to be at all feasable. Maybe a mini-session with andrew and I and maybe some old timers, but who knows. Guess dnd finally dies for all of us this fall, unfortuantely.

And the dates are the 23rd and 24th by the way.

Hey, most of us will be back in town occassionally (Christmas, sillyduck!), and fate has a way of seeing paths part only to wend together again. So don't chuck those character sheets yet! Besides, maybe your characters can be involved in "spin-off" adventures later, even if we can't re-convene the whole party.

All things pass, and all we can do is try to appreciate them while they're here. I know I've appreciated every session of any role-playing game I've played in, and I think you guys are the same.

Okay, 'nuff philosophizin'.

True enough, I have absolutely no regrets, and I know that my dnd exploits will be blazed in the minds of everyone I have ever played with. I cant say enough about dnd though, god, its been almost 9 years since I started playing with you, mike, andrew and the occasional steve. Man, those were the days, aliens, starcraft, post apocolptic, FF7ish style, mechs (remember me in my javelin), and all the medievil campaigns (my favorite btw). Someday Iam totally going to have a write a book with the help of you guys, called something like "Dnd DArwin Awards" or something along those lines. I woudl have quite a few under my name. The memories.
