I was reminded, forcefully, by my mother today that I still have a high risk of going blind because of my medical problem. It got me thinking.

If you had a choice in loosing one of your senses, what would you choose?

I would actually prefer to lose my sense of smell of sense of touch...

I need to be able to read and write and hear anime/music. Like you, I would probably go insane. I remember when I started to go deaf in my one ear, I thought that people were lying to me when they said they were saying things to me or that alarms would go off and I just didn't hear them. I'm just grateful I've only lost partial hearing in one ear, because if I was to go deaf completely I don't know what I would do.

So sense of touch, or sense of smell I could deal with losing (as my sense of smell is damaged already and has been since I was a child, it wouldn't be much of a loss...)
