Just got back from seeing Dave Chappelle's Block Party, which I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone. In addition to Chappelle being pretty fucking funny, it's a really great concert film. I'm making a decision to expose myself to more rap - I have a few rap albums, (Most of the Roots' albums and two of Jurassic 5, and Common.)but my next CD

Pop-rap is the same as pop-anything. Rock, country, teenybopper - they all, really, are exactly the same, and exactly as shitty as one another. Going to a genre's roots is always best.

I really do like Kanye West though.
