I had my orientation at PSU today, so now I'm all registered and educated about the whole transfer process. This fall I'm taking Japanese 201, Chinese Buddhist Art and Intro to Linguistics. Quite frankly, I think that's the single most beautiful sentence I've ever written ( Read more... )

When I get back from California, we should make a day. Plans. Those things that you make when you intend to see someone and do things. Yes.

That sounds good. When are you getting back from California?

P.S. Thanks for clarifying the definition of the word "plans" for me. Otherwise there might have been some confusion, which could have lead to horrible misconceptions, and all kinds of hillarious hijinks and crazy situations might have followed.

I get back on September 3rd.

P.S. I am quite aware of the hijinks that could have insued, had I not informed you of the meaning of the word "plans". You are lucky this is no anime series, where such things are welcomed...or something. Meh.

Ooohhh...your classes sound like fun! I was thinking of doing this joint-major thing in Psychology/Linguistics, but then I decided I didn't want to go that school...LOL.

And if I ate fast food, I would so come and bug you at Wendy's. Unless you guys have curly fries. I am somewhat obsessed with curly fries.

And is it kind of sad that when you wrote "Teal's", I thought it said "Teal'c", and began wondering why Teal'c would have a house out here when he lives in Colorado. And yes, my Stargate obsession has now hit new lows.

That's because my classes will be fun. Don't you wish you were a Japanese maor? (Come on, who doesn't?)

We don't have curly fries. Sadly. But we do have all kinds of vegetarian options, like baked potatos and fruit and yogurt (unless you're vegan and don't eat yogurt). And besides, we have frosties. Enough said.

You're right, that is kind of sad. But believe me, by now I completely understand. There's nary a subject in existence which I can't somehow relate back to either Gundam Wing or Harry Potter. Or sommetimes both, which is just weird.
