I just finished watching the documentary Bowling for Columbine by Michael Moore about gun-related violence in America. The film was incredibly disturbing, but also very good. It raises a lot of important questions, and I couldn't help trying to write about them in an attempt to figure them out. I'm definitely welcoming any discussion on this topic

Hey! I feel so bad about not emailing you lately, but my classes have been so busy that I hardly even get on my computer for more than five minutes a day, unless it's to write a report or something. I didn't mean to worry you; I'm sorry about that.

I hope everything is going well with you, I'll try and send you an email soon. School gets out in a few weeks, then I'm going to California from June 20th to July 4th for a family reunion thing. After that I should be much more available than I have been lately.

I hope you don't take this personally- I certainly wasn't ignoring you on purpose. I've been kind've reclusive this past month because of all my homework. I swear, these teachers are trying to drive me mad!
