Secret, but right out in public

Despite Earthlink's interference, I finally got pics of the scrolls ermine_rat and I did for Marguerite and Brian posted.

Yes, I worked on these at their house, right in front of them. I am a special kind of devious.
M: Oh, what are you working on?
me: I have scrolls to do.
M: Who are they for, or is it a secret?
me: It's a secret, but it's going to be really cool! You'll want to be in court for it.

They are not bad, certainly adequate*.  I hope it doesn't take too long to get them sealed. I'd like some pics of them fully complete.

I wish that I had had more time to work the white lining technique. I know there are tools that, once I get good with them, will let me do the lines better. Until then, my brush work was the best way to lay them down. I do love what falzalot calls "painting with eyelashes". I'm not sure how muralists manage a canvas the size of a building.

I really enjoyed working with the Gaston Phoebus images. I look forward to doing more scrolls from the manuscript.

Next scroll project: forcing helping Marguerite to finish lifeofglamour's AoA.
Next painting project: miniature for Etaine

* My dad has a story of a colleague who got in trouble for describing a project that met all criteria as "adequate".
